Through the Child Development Center on the NC State campus, students have access to a hands-on lab that is National Association for the Education of Young Children accredited.
North Central State College offers three Early Childhood Education programs that satisfy Ohio Jobs and Family Services requirements for administrators of child care programs. These programs also satisfy requirements for the Ohio Department of Education Pre-K Associate Teacher Licensure.

Many of our associate-degree graduates go on to obtain a bachelor’s degree. NC State has over 40 agreements with four-year colleges and universities, to provide a smooth transition for students who want to pursue a bachelor degree. Through university partnerships, some four-year courses are also offered on the NC State campus or online.
